Hotel Windschar: Mr. Kitz, how would you describe the different steps of your treatment?
Harald Kitz: While the guest is lying on the back, I try to harmonize the nervous system and the muscles by using rhythmic pressure and waving movements in the area of the head, the neck and the shoulders. In this way blocked energy can flow again through the whole body. Haki® stretch & relax is a mixture of different pulling movements, pressure techniques and classic massage movements and it is based on the principles of energy courses in our body. I especially apply soft waving movements which induce even the worst workaholic or self-controlled person to let completely go and totally relax. The therapist therefore needs to have a special feeling for oscillation since every part of our body has its own waving frequency. My job is to capture the individual waving of a person and to unite both our body rhythms in order to harmonize the client. I exactly feel the point when the treated person completely lets himself fall and forgets his whole environment. I also use a towel to lift the client’s head and gently move it in a slow rhythm. My guests often describe these soft movements as a “floating lightness” or as a hovering state. Through my fluent movements I can expel the heavy load through body and legs restoring inner balance and harmony.
