Törggelen - the South Tyrolean Tradition!
At this time of year farmers harvest the fruits of their hard work and in the typical South Tyrolean restaurants "Törggelen" is celebrated! Taste South Tyrolean wines, the specialties of the farmer's kitchen and warm your hands on hot chestnuts.
Törggelen is an ancient farming tradition of South Tyrol characterized by a pleasant get-together with South Tyrolean specialties such as bacon, Schlutzkrapfen (half-moons stuffed with ricotta and spinach), salted meat, sauerkraut and roasted chestnuts. In addition, fresh apple juice and freshly harvested wine is served.
