We invite you to discover one of the most beautiful winter walks in the Ahrntal Valley: the trail from Rio Bianco to Marxegger hut, surrounded by snowy forests and postcard-perfect alpine views.

From the parking area in Rio Bianco, we follow the forest path that leads gently through the woods. The hike is easy and suitable for everyone, with 430 m of elevation gain and a walking time of about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the hut.
The route climbs gradually, offering stunning views over the valley—perfect for those who love winter nature and the peaceful atmosphere of the mountains.

Marxegger hut welcomes you with its cosy alpine ambiance and traditional South Tyrolean dishes, along with warm drinks prepared on the spot.
To make the experience even more fun, the return can turn into an unforgettable moment: the toboggan run, safe and well-prepared, takes you all the way back down to the starting point.
