The Bell Tower rising from the water
One of the most enchanting mountain resorts in our region is undoubtedly the Reschen Pass in the heart of the Vinschgau Valley.
This marvellous pass, at a height of 1504 metres, is a scenic Alpine pass that separates the Eastern and Western Alps.
It is certainly famous for a very peculiar detail: in the middle of the water, a 14th-century bell tower emerges, a reminder of the Romanesque church of St. Catherine of Alexandria!
Certainly a fascinating place full of mystery; it is said that, on cold winter evenings, one can still hear the bells ringing...
